Galvanised steel flat bar in grade 275JR

Galvanised steel flat bars from The Metal Store are provided at grade 275JR to BS EN10025. All our galvanised steel flat bars have been hot dip galvanised in keeping with the British Galvanising Standard EN ISO 1461. This technique helps strengthen each bar, meaning it corrodes at a slower pace when compared with traditional mild steel.

As a result, galvanised steel flat bars are ideal for use in situations where rust resistance is essential, such as vehicle construction or as part of outdoor structures. Their shape also means they’re generally used for both fabrication and frameworks.

Range of sizes and free cutting

We stock galvanised steel flat bar in 3mm, 5mm, or 6mm thickness and 1.5m, 3m and 6m lengths. However, we also offer unlimited free cutting so you can have the bar cut to your exact requirements. Using our high-quality band saw, we can offer our customers flexibility and freedom with their purchases.

Please note that the galvanised steel may have a small hole in either end which enables the flat bar to be dipped in the galvanising tank. Lead time for delivery of galvanised products may be longer than our usual standard delivery time of 1-3 days
